Jack Hancock
Is a locally bred horse, born in King George, Va. on May 19 2009. Both his parents were Champion Halter horses, his sire was a blue roan, and his mother a palomino. He is a registered American Quarter Horse.

In March 2020, at the age of 11 he was purchased by Ms Karen for use as a lesson horse at Linden Farm. He was green broke (barely any riding time), overweight and had sore feet from under run heels. After a reasonable diet, lots of turnout, new shoes and some exercise, Jack began working his way towards the beautiful boy he has become.

2022 was his first show season ever. Showing in Mounted Wanderers 4H Show Season with two riders, he earned two Championships. Champion Conformation Gelding wherein he showed his excellent breeding. Championship in performance, English Junior Rider w/t Performance, and two Reserves, English Hunter Hack, and Equitation Beginner walk-trot.

He has learned to trot little fences and has been ridden in off the farm Trail Rides and been Fox Hunting. At 13 he is just a young horse who has a great future at Linden Farm.
