Linden's Chai Latte
“Chai” was adopted from the METS rescue organization in July 2020 after catching Miss Karen’s eye on their website.
Chai was the daughter of an OTTB mare, and it was obvious after watching a video of her moving that she has wonderful gaits
and great potential as a show horse for Linden Farm. Her Name was “Elle” but after looking at her pedigree with wonderful names
such as “Hot Cocoa,” “Cappucino Queen,” “Mocha Queen,” “Coffee Shop” it was decided to rename her “Linden’s Chai Latte.
Chai is a chestnut mare born in Maryland 2015 and her sire “El Padrino” was a stakes winner. She began work at Linden Farm as a potential lesson
horse and in 2022 was in her first year of competition as a show horse ridden by Lea Feldhuhn, She earned two Championships and a Reserve that year.
This year, she is ridden by Kendra Etheridge, and they are competing as part of Linden’s Equestrian Team 2023 in the Free Rein Show Series. In the two shows
in which we have competed this year, Kendra and Chai have won a Championship in each!!!
We would have to say that with this record, Miss Karen’s eye for a good horse was right on the money! As a young horse of 8-year-old, the lovely Chai Latte has a great
future ahead of her in the show ring!
